After a long-anticipated four years working in criminal defense, I finally found the courage to break out on my own. Today marks the first of many posts that will be designed to inform and educate my clients and anyone willing to read.

The focus of my law office is going to be to provide experienced criminal defense utilizing personalized legal solutions. My defense method was developed after years as both a prosecutor and defense attorney. It recognizes that not all people involved in the criminal justice system are equal. That the system is designed to take into account a person’s background, education, work experience, and mitigation efforts. It is also designed to take into account and reward overcoming personal struggles. These factors combined with the law and the facts of an individual case will produce the results desperately needed when a person is facing criminal charges.

I will be focused on handling an array of cases to include, Reckless Driving, DUI | DWI, drive on a suspended license, drive on a revoked license, hit and run, eluding, and non-traffic criminal matters both big and small.

I am also planning on offering personalized legal solutions for small to medium-sized business owner. Having worked with numerous start-ups and established businesses in the Washington, D.C. area, my business clients value the personal attention and ongoing working relationship they have established with me over the years. I currently serve as General Counsel for a cyber-security company, an information technology contracting firm, a non-profit, and an internet marketing firm. Over the years, I have counseled numerous small and medium-sized business on an as-needed basis to provide the insight, guidance, and advice my clients know and trust.

I have been in the business of protecting people for over 15 years. While only 7 of them have been as a lawyer, my work experience is vast. Prior to becoming a lawyer, I served as a United States Marine, a Uniformed Officer at the U.S. State Department, and worked as a contractor for the U.S. Government. During and after law school, I was a prosecutor and police legal advisor. All of this experience follows me into the courtroom to assist my clients in reaching their goals.
